
Where Surf Meets Soul
Lynsey is a certified surf instructor and freediver with a Sociology Degree from the University of Florida and a life dedicated to philanthropy. While volunteering as a surf therapist with survivors of sexual exploitation, she had a revelation to combine her diverse experience with the power of the ocean. Using her specialization in trauma, stress, and direct care, she guides clients to overcome obstacles and foster inner peace.

While attending the University of Florida, Lynsey began her career as a youth counselor and special needs caregiver. In addition to her degree, she holds a comprehensive Traumatic Stress Studies Certification from The Trauma Research Foundation and completed Direct Care courses at Tallahassee State College. Upon receiving her degree she expanded her skill set through a career in international business and medical sales before transitioning to a life more focused on family and community.
Lynsey has coached disabled youth in sports, led teams to fundraise more than $1.3 million for charitable organizations, and provided humanitarian aid and support to refugees in partnership with the US Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration.
A water woman at heart with a background in competitive swimming, Lynsey is a certified surf instructor by the International Surf Association and an FII certified freediver with a love for spearfishing. She obtained her Ocean Rescue and Safety Certification from the International Lifesaving Federation in Nicaragua, as well as American Red Cross training in the United States. In addition, she has certifications in boater safety, recreational watercraft operation, and Tow in Surf Ocean Safety from the University of Hawaii.
Lynsey is expanding her capabilities through additional international FII freediving courses, pursuing additional ocean education, and accredited mental health trainings.
